Here are some pictures of the the demolition of the 3 LF towers at Annapolis Navy Radio Transmitting Station. The antennas we were using this spring were supported by these towers that were demolished. The 3 Marconi antennas were taken down prior to the demolishing. NOTE: AMRAD members only watched and did not destroy these fine towers! An unintended consequence was that WB4APR's digipeater antenna was still attached. Good news: the coax can be recovered without climbing the tower. Bad news: the 2 meter co-linear is in the foreground of the "fallen" picture and did not survive.
